Geneen Georgiev
CLASSICAL
Geneen is a classically trained dance teacher who has expanded her knowledge in a variety of dance mediums. She is known to fill classes and keep regular students. She works to inspire others and to relay the knowledge that has been passed down to her. Geneen teaches an energetic class where her students will learn to understand the purpose of their movements and walk out of class feeling inspired and enlightened. Geneen instructed throughout British Columbia for many years before she extended her dance training worldwide. Internationally acclaimed studios in England, Australia, Japan and the United States are where she has absorbed a diverse repertoire of styles that she now uses on a daily bases. Locally she has received her technical training by some of the best talent in the Canadian industry; Beverly Acheson- L’École Canadian, Yamming Lee- Pacific Dance Arts, Joy Camden- R.A.D examiner. Being immersed in the dance society her whole life; Geneen has decided to peruse an array of business projects aiming to increase the popularity of dance in Canada. She prepared herself by attending BCIT in the fall of 2007 taking entrepreneurship and web design. She has performed in many venues all over the lower main land as well as in several shows over seas. Geneen is currently a working dancer herself, and she encourages all her students to follow by example as she keeps her style and knowledge up to date within the dance industry.
