Nicole is an inspiring dancer/choreographer who has been devoting her life to this passion since the age of 3. She began as a competitive dancer at a young age as she moved on to perform at Walkerville Center for the Creative arts for four years where she achieved the all-around dance expertise award every year as well as the sole dance scholarship winner her graduating year.
She has performed with such companies as Windsor competitive dance team, Walkerville Collegiate institute, Windsor Center for the creative Arts, Eternity Entertainment, Off the Floor Dance productions, The Bull Girls, resorts all over Mexico and more.
In the past 24 years this young full force dancer has strived to become an electrifying dance sensation where she continues to bring new innovative features to today’s dance world who states; “Dance is an inspiration to us all and it is my life. This is a constant growing art form which should be experienced by all, whether it’s on stage or in the audience.” Nicole moved to Mexico at the age of 17, where she danced and choreographed at a resort for a 1 year and 6 month contract as well as toured to other resorts. When Nicole returned home from her travels, she began producing shows and dancing in music videos, shows and concerts. She has also appeared in numerous TV commercials for the Windsor lighting boutique as well as Racicot Chrysler.
Nicole has trained all over Canada, the United States and internationally as she is a very versatile dancer and excels at all styles. She began choreographing at the age of 13, where she choreographed and produced her first show at the age of 16 called “No Boundaries”. Nicole has performed and done choreography in the following remake productions; A Chorus Line, Cabaret, Rocky Horror Picture Show(choreographer), Oklahoma, Grease, Don Quiote, The Nutcracker, Chicago(choreographer), Into the Woods(choreographer), 42nd Street (choreographer), Moulin Rouge, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and cats to name a few. Nicole also appeared as a back-up dancer in the Johnny Reid concert in 2010.
She is currently the choreographer of a prestigious dance company/group in Windsor Ontario called “the Bull Girls” who perform three shows per week and have appeared on Cogeco TV, the paper and magazines numerous times for their spectacular dance ability and performances.
She recently travelled to Vancouver to choreograph for ‘The Lovers Cabaret’ production of ‘The Lovers of Hendrix’. Vancouver weekly called Nicole’s choreography to be “the command of the stage.” As well, Vancouver Blog named her work to be; “a vibrant, upbeat party on stage, with a lot of dancing and detail to Jazz, the lifestyle was turned into movement.”
Nicole recently finished producing her third major production show called ‘Diversity’; Which Biz X Magazine has called it a; “Must see dance spectacular”. Her show was a major sold out success and received a fabulous review in Biz X Magazine. Her inspiring dance personality hyped up the movement in the city with this spectacular show. Haslam quotes in ‘Eyes On Windsor’ internet blog “Dance is one of the world’s greatest forms to express emotion and feelings, and we don’t get enough of it on stage in Windsor for the public to experience, and I am about to change that.” Diversity blew away the spectators of the city.
Nicole is constantly inspiring dancers around her and in her community with her passion and talent for dance. She is on her way to many more great successes in the world following her dream as a dancer. This is a true performer/choreographer whom eats, breathes and sleeps 5,6,7,8.
