Natasha Powell

Born and raised in Toronto, Natasha’s love for the performing arts started at an early age. Since the age of 9, Natasha has been training in hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, modern, lyrical, musical theatre. Her dance training has gone as far as Los Angeles and New York to train at some of the most notable studios (Edge Performing Arts, Debbie Reynolds, and Broadway Dance Centre) with some of the most sought after choreographers in the dance and entertainment industry. Her performing credits include dancing in Rihanna’s hit music video “Pon de Replay”, spot dates with Cory Lee, X-quisite, and has worked for co-operations such as Air Canada, Woodbine Casino, MAC Viva Glam Fashion Cares, Breakfast Television, NEDCO Electronics, KUYA Productions, Tim Horton’s and The Design Exchange. She has also had the opportunity to shoot a dance scene in the film “Talk to Me” starring Don Cheadle Most recently she completed post-production work on the upcoming film “How She Move”, and also choreographed a concert featuring Mikey Bustos (Canadian Idol Season 1) and Jasmine Trias (American Idol Season 3). Her passion and drive for the arts not only makes her an extremely versatile dancer and an energetic instructor, but also makes her a great person to work with.
